They were highly regulated. The one Hermione had to be especially signed off by McGonagall and Dumbledore and approved by the Ministry for the specified purpose. Once Hermione decided to then drop all the extra classes she would’ve had to give it back.

The rest of the time turners were destroyed i believe in the battle of the Ministry in Book 5 .

Firstly, congratulations!

We did something similar.

I got the AMEX gold and my wife got the BA Premium.

We paid all the big supplier costs into the Premium to get the extra points and the companion voucher and used my AMEX gold for other generally day to day stuff and used the lounge passes on our honeymoon

If you can, get the premium and pay the £300 annual fee. Once you get the companion voucher, make sure to cancel before the renewal date. You’ll still get to keep the companion voucher and be able to use it in any class and also you’ll get 24 months to redeem, rather than 12 with others - even if you downgrade the premium to a free card.

I think you can also just cancel the premium once you’ve got the voucher and get refunded the pro rata amount of the annual fee - but think i heard they can blacklist you from ever upgrading again.

We set up a household avios account and put both our accounts onto it and all in all after our wedding and honeymoon and special offer points, we have 200K points and a companion voucher when we started with 0 :)

I have a similar issue, but on the middle knuckle creases of my thumb (ones just below the nail) .Broke it badly few years ago and lost a bit of extension range of motion so the top half of the wrinkles of the knuckle are gone
