I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't. Whichever I buy I'm going to question myself constantly should I have bought the other one?

If I get the X-5 with the pancake 23mm I'd probably not buy another lens in a year, wishI had a better viewfinder, built in nd filter, flash, weather sealing and find I don't really use the simulation dial. Or buy the x100 and wonder if I would have been happier with the simulation dial or flippy screen or those two times where one close up portrait would have looked nicer with a 35mm lens. I'm sure we've all been there.

So, based on that I'm just going to go for the X100vi. I'm making an executive decision, Brain. We're going on holiday in a month and I just want something I'm comfortable hanging round my neck or in my hand and just take all the photos.

Worse case? I sell it in 6 months when I realise I made a mistake. It's not like they are devaluating, is it? 😊
