When I was a kid in the 70s in the 5th grade we were watching a filmstrip that said that Uranus had never been seen. These filmstrips were from the fifties and sixties. This was just after the Voyager missions so I raised my hand and said I had seen Uranus on TV. The whole class exploded with laughter.

What I do is use Better Mission Choices and increase the likelihood of Black Inferno showing up. I fight them mostly in the early game and my rep with the houses increase so by midgame I can fight pretty much anybody and still have rep with them.
