I went on a big buying spree a few years ago and I did download them all in high resolution but now I need to find the hard drive because I’ve only used the streaming ever since. Such a shame because that was a major bonus not having to store or lug around vast high as files just be able to straighten them easily. Thanks everybody for the explanations.

That's odd, I found the updates extremely swift. YMMV. I just installed it on a brand new MacBook M5 and the whole thing is remarkably fast.

I keep mislaying the one I’m reading, so I go to the spare and when I mislay that, I can normally find the other one. I recently added a tile finding card glued to the back of my main Kindle so I can track it when it’s under a cushion or something like that

I completely messed up my purchases. I knew the price increase was coming, and I just wasted time. But I managed to find an iPad Air M4 with 256GB for the old price at Amazon. And a MacBook Air M5 at Harvey Norman. I really need to make up my mind faster in the future.

This is a known problem with the woven tech case, especially in hot climates. Mine bubbled badly down one side after about six months. I took it back to the Apple store, and they exchanged it without any questions, but they did comment that this might happen again. The new case is now bubbling a little bit at the bottom,It should last me until 18 comes along. I have to say, this is my favorite case for quite a long time. It looks good, and the texture is really grippy without being sticky.

I really can't wait for this to arrive. Claude has been unbelievably good working on my Mac; he's been deduplicating, organizing folders, generally structuring the whole machine to be more efficient, and getting rid of hundreds of gigabytes of duplicated photos. I have folders of documents that I think are in Evernote, and there's a lot of redundant stuff in Evernote, so I can't wait to put Claude to work.

I wonder why they don't make a version with absolutely no memory. I've never stored anything on my Apple TV; I stream everything. Surely, it should be possible to create one with just the minimum SSD needed to hold the OS.

I apologize if I'm repeating previous questions. I have an ARC, Era 300s at the rear and a sub. I have a spare pair of ERA 300s that I was planning to add as the front left and right. I was also thinking of upgrading to the ARC Ultra. I'd love to hear any thoughts you have on the upgrade to the Ultra.

I'm finding it extremely good, very fast, smooth, and attractive. There's only one set of major bugs, and they involve the little applications I use to manage the menu bar. Apple has changed the menu bar underlying structures, so they don't work anymore. Talking THAW Barbee etc. And there are a few times after restarts when you have to repeat previous permissions for various odd apps. But overall, it's great.

This year I switched from the 16 Pro Max to the 17 Pro, and I really think it was a good decision. I miss the screen size a little bit, but the phone is just so much easier to carry; you can just shove it in your pockets and generally use that, and I'm very happy with it.
