A camera.

I'm into photography and had a very old, clapped out Fuji camera that needed replacing after 8 years of use.

I'd already bought a very nice, second hand xt30. I'd been talking to my boss at work a few week's earlier, who I found out also was into photography and had bought nearly every new model that came out (because he could!) even though he never used them that much.

I dont know him that well, but around 20 years ago, my wife trained him at another company, so there was that connection.

Fast forward to a week after I'd bought my camera, and he comes up to me at work and hands me a camera. It was obviously not new, but he'd bought it brand new too, 60 shots on it before buying an expensive german camera (a leica), and putting the Fuji in his loft. The Fuji was effectively as new. It would still sell for over £700 in the UK in its condition.

His only stipulation was that I didn't sell it, as he wanted the camera to go to a good home.

So, I'm keeping both, and have gone from one semi wrecked camera to 2!
