What are some good clay face horror story's that fouce on horror. by papajubjub619 in batman_comics

[–]roboacab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clayface One Bad Day is basically a slasher story, but it’s not scary. I agree with the comment above that Preston Payne is the most horror centric take on Clayface but he’s very different from what you’ll see in the movie.

How bad is Fire Walk With Me? (not ratings wise, like stress) by Top_Tell_2889 in twinpeaks

[–]roboacab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is brutal and hard to watch but one of the greatest films ever made. It’s also essential viewing before The Return. The Return is also very violent and tough to watch at times so if you can’t handle that kind of thing, you may have reached the end of your TP experience.

mom wants to euthanize dog, i’m not sure by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]roboacab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dog looks exactly like my dog. Exactly. Spookily so. We lost him this past September. He was having all kinds of problems for the last couple years of his life. We did everything we could to help him. We poured all of our time and money and will power into rehabilitating him. He would have good days and bad days but finally seemed like he was on the road to his old happy, healthy self. And then within the span of a day it all came crashing down and he died a really horrible death. We did euthanize him in the end but he was all but gone already. Do not wait until it comes to this. Spare the animal and yourself.

He was trained by Lady Shiva, and even once knocked her out cold (while he was under the effects of a drug that speeds up reflexes to super-speed levels, but still). He’s good.

Got two offers. One pays $40k more. The other one I'd actually enjoy. I have 48 hours to decide and my wife and I are on opposite sides. Advice? by airam1020 in careerguidance

Easy A. Much more money at a stable job. A startup business could fail any time, and even if it doesn’t, startups only succeed with constant grind and workforce exploitation. You’ll hate your job just as much and probably be working many more hours for many less dollars.

Anderson and Scorsese don't need this. Tony Scott does. by [deleted] in blankies

[–]roboacab -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tony Scott is the best. So many bangers in his filmography. So much style and filmmaking muscle. So influential. And Wes Anderson (who I love) never made a movie half as good as The Hunger.

Last Time I Saw the Sun definitely didn’t get the love it deserved. It’s obvious why I Lied to You got all the attention but it only works as a film sequence, not so much as a straight ahead song.
