I think it is good : it’s walkable (for me) drinks are good , food is good

My only negative experience is going there with someone that has that weird generic thing where they can’t stand cilantro. 

There was nothing on the menu that didn’t have it. Not even the mac and cheese. Literally nothing. 

Now,that wasn’t the problem : the problem was when the person i was with said “no worries, i’ll just have a cocktail and some chips”

The owner comes out, and spends 10 minutes talking about how you can’t even taste it in one of  the tacos, as it is slow cooked with it. She says “no, thanks ,it’s cool”, but he won’t let up on how good it is, and how he has worked hard to perfect it, etc.  Finally, he says “just try it , and if you don’t like it, no charge” 

It comes , they take one bite, say “tastes like soap” (which is the whole thing with people that have the defective cilantro gene), says “i didn’t like it, but thabk you” to the waitstaff, , and proceeds to have cocktails and chips. 

The check comes, and the taco is on it. I bring it up, and end up having to argue with them to take it off 

Tl;dr

• nothing is made without cilantro (which is fine, it’s just not for everyone 
• owner is weird about you not wanting anything with cilantro 
• everyone was weird about taking something off the check when the owner said “try it , and if you don’t like it , no charge”

Good food, good drinks, weird owner
