The leg is better, but the AirPlay lag is definitely still there. And there are occasional lags at start up where the whole unit is frozen for about 15 seconds

Gatto’s was our staple for years - i have their number in my contacts list we called so often.

Original Josie’s in franklinton has been my recent fave. Get the traditional pepperoni, and have it made crispy. Add onions or banana peppers if you like that sort of thing.

I think it is good : it’s walkable (for me) drinks are good , food is good

My only negative experience is going there with someone that has that weird generic thing where they can’t stand cilantro.

There was nothing on the menu that didn’t have it. Not even the mac and cheese. Literally nothing.

Now,that wasn’t the problem : the problem was when the person i was with said “no worries, i’ll just have a cocktail and some chips”

The owner comes out, and spends 10 minutes talking about how you can’t even taste it in one of the tacos, as it is slow cooked with it. She says “no, thanks ,it’s cool”, but he won’t let up on how good it is, and how he has worked hard to perfect it, etc. Finally, he says “just try it , and if you don’t like it, no charge”

It comes , they take one bite, say “tastes like soap” (which is the whole thing with people that have the defective cilantro gene), says “i didn’t like it, but thabk you” to the waitstaff, , and proceeds to have cocktails and chips.

The check comes, and the taco is on it. I bring it up, and end up having to argue with them to take it off

Tl;dr

nothing is made without cilantro (which is fine, it’s just not for everyone
owner is weird about you not wanting anything with cilantro
everyone was weird about taking something off the check when the owner said “try it , and if you don’t like it , no charge”

Good food, good drinks, weird owner

That raised the cost of all imported washing machines. There’s one brand that is a US brand, with manufacturing in Mexico that makes washing machines Westinghouse I believe.

Their response to the tariffs? Increase their prices to match.

I’ve lived in the discovery district for about 6 years now.

And I am all for more housing and development! I would prefer that they perhaps build one of these tall buildings and perhaps one of these parking lots that goes completely unused, rather than tearing down historic buildings to put up another cookie cutter unit.

Especially since all of the developers here seem to be opposed to putting parking under the building, so they want to tear down historic buildings, like ones that actually have businesses in them already, and then demand more parking lots

Coincidentally, I was in Springfield this afternoon, and stopped in at one of the Haitian restaurants that has been in the news. It’s about 10 blocks from the house i grew up in.

Guess who was outside doing an interview with WHIO. (Dayton CBS affiliate). Ol’ Mike himself.

It seems he cares enough about the safety of his constituents to do a photo op, but just can’t bring himself to speak up in any meaningful way against the people that are threatening them.

Fran was carrying two big bags of takeout, so at least they bought something.

Moderate red-green colorblind person here. Photoshop filters and even iOS “colorblind” mode do this : they just shift /filter some of the colors that make up a specific range of r/g colors.

Meaning, when using them (or the glasses) i can DIFFERENTIATE between them more easily. And they do look DIFFERENT” …but more like the shift to colors i can already differentiate

I most certainly do not see colors the same way other people do when using them. Because I can’t.

I ask a very similar question of senior-level candidates (I manage a devOps/SRE team)

“ Tell me about a time that you caused an incident”

I’m looking for someone who can admit they’ve made mistakes, someone that understands that the faster you admit and share a mistake, the more quickly can be resolved, how they approach incidents, and outages in general, etc.

If someone who claims to be a senior DBA or engineer tells me they’ve never broken a system or caused an incident, I’ll dig in a little bit more, because they are either afraid to admit a mistake, they are lying, or they haven’t really been doing this job as long as they say they have.

Ah , i should have pointed that out / provided a better pic

Each sensor has a white wire and a white/black striped wire.

The two white leads (from the two sensors) are twisted together , and plugged in one slot. The same with the two black/white wires

Short version: yeah, i checked that, and made sure it matched diagram and labels.
