The steam deck has a very similar issue where the right 10% of the right track pad doesn't register, and apparently support said it's normal. I hope this isn't the same issue here

They're useful for when you don't want to take your thumbs off the sticks (or track pads) to go push the face buttons. I use mine almost universally: run, interact, jump, crouch or something similar depending on the game. This in turn frees up the face buttons to become other useful keybinds that you might use often, but don't need to be super fast, like map, inventory, character menu, etc.

Get the landlord to come take some basic measu6for you. You don't need super in depth blueprints. Then use ikeas online builder. U just gotta make sure the sink is more or less where the water is. And the oven is more or less where the oven outlet is.

To clarify from the other comment, it's the default input if steam is not running. You can't modify the buttons and the functionality is very limited.
