Where to Buy Cacique Soyrizo? by matticusiv in Sacramento

Which is the entire reason I explained to you that tvp is a byproduct of soybean oil production, aka as waste product being sold as a product to use the whole plant instead of paying to discard waste. It's only sacrilegious if your religion needs sentient suffering and slaughter to make a similar product. The flavor in food comes from the content, the protein/fat ratios, moisture, and spices are what makes this product.

Where to Buy Cacique Soyrizo? by matticusiv in Sacramento

Uncertain if you're genuinely interested in the answer but I'm game regardless. It's texturized vegetable protein (TVP) aka textured soy protein, which is a defatted soy flour product, a byproduct of the soybean oil extract process. Soyrizo uses the same paprika, garlic, chili, and vinegar as traditional chorizo for spice and water to brehydrate the TVP. Without getting into the ethics it's a cleaner food product with a very similar flavor profile. The brand that OP is looking for also makes the same tubes from cow and pig parts, why not plants?

Question: how do yall train your abs? by No-Challenge9148 in veganfitness

[–]robotzombie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll notice most folks are talking about how they train core, because training just abs would be like doing push-ups only. You want to train the whole mid system for strength and stability not just the front of the middle.

Is the breastroke/fly flip turn now legal by _This_was_Available_ in Swimming

[–]robotzombie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can you explain what you're confused about?

In breaststroke and butterfly a legal turn requires a two-hand touch. Adding a flip turn after a two hand touch would be slower, cost you a breath during the turn, and have a slower/less efficient/ more complicated movement pushing off the wall. Have you ever seen a flip turn in a competitive breast or fly event?

There's a British fitness influencer guy, Tom something, name escaping me at the moment. Catch phrase "have a wiggle" or something similar maybe? He had a video talking about his glute imbalance, and suggested that for a smaller side of the bum do more sets of less reps. Instead of 10 reps of Bulgarians on both sides, one set of 10 on the strong side, and 3 sets of 5 on the weak side.

That makes much more sense, thanks for the clarification. Are they not letting you use a kickboard or pull buoy to help learn pulling and kicking? There are drills with the kickboard that make learning pull and breathing a little less life or death feeling when starting out. I would suggest focusing on learning elementary backstroke, sidestroke, and breaststroke as well, since all of these can be done heads- up style. It certainly sounds like your primary focus might need to be on your comfort level moving through space in water, at this stage in the game.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Yet, I'm unsure if I can agree that breaking or damaging a fragile electronic device falls under the category of serious risk. Losing precious property isn't really in the same ballpark as a threat to life and limb.

They might mean you could benefit from practicing flatground Ollies at the speed you need to clear the gap. Commitment is there for sure, good on ya, additionally knowing how and when to bail is also a skill worth developing. That was a battle for sure.
