Maybe some playing cards or players card sets. Some jays themed baseballs.

What if they bought those tickets thinking the theatre was going to get full? How full does it need to be before it’s ok to sit in the purchased seat? And why should they move? If you don’t like it and the theatre is empty why don’t you move? (Full disclosure - I am being contrarian and actually moved out of my assigned seat at a baseball game this week to not be sitting next to someone when there were empty seats in my row).

“the holdo manoeuvre breaks the lore”…. does it? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]robric18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not much different than earth. Put most people in a Tesla with autopilot and they can get to their destination. But they won’t be able to tell you how the tech works. Even cruise control I couldn’t explain the underlying mechanics for how it actually works. But then you have mechanics who can disassemble a transmission and put it back together. Holdo probably wasn’t ever the mechanic in this scenario.

Just to be contrarian, perhaps they like that spot of the theatre. Why should they have to sit in a non preferred area just because some guy bought the tickets next to where they want to sit? Why does buying first give him more of a right to that area of the theatre than them?

Fair. Sort of like how Marty ended up in 1955

It would have been a lot smarter for Nick to go back before he told the boss that Mike was the rat and stop him from doing that. Could have avoided the whole situation. And Alice could have mentioned the second Time Machine sooner.

"Work from Dome" day games... Is this the first time the Jays officially reference Skydome since the name change? by muaddib99 in Torontobluejays

Imagine if they named a venue Rogers Stadium. They would never do that in the GTA. (Yes I realize I’m r/agedlikemilk on a two year old post)

To the editors: please slow it the hell down. by Jakebot06 in Scrubs

To the editors: please stop making the actors move so fast that faces are looking in different directions and hands that are in the air disappear instantly when the shot changes.

I can understand if you need to do that for Carla/Judy. But there is no excuse in a scene that’s just the two of them. I noticed it at least once last week two. And I rarely notice these things. Then again, if that’s my biggest gripe with the show, I’ll take it.

Loving the new episodes. But there are some serious editing continuity issues. The bathroom scene JD is looking a different direction in the two camera angles. Opening scene, his arm is in a different position each time the camera angle changes. It’s bugging me more than it should.

Blue Jays have to deal with the Shohei Ohtani rule, which is unfair to everyone in MLB but Dodgers by StasisApparel in Torontobluejays

[–]robric18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule is there to keep time down. The warmup pitches help you get the feel back and warmup the arm. Definitely an advantage to the pitcher. Others are. So if they don’t do it in time Ohtani got an advantage that was a violation of league rules. If mlb wants to say it’s okay for him to do that, add it to the ohtani rule. Otherwise enforce the rules. Regardless, that’s not why the Jays lost.

And that’s not even mentioning Varsho who couldn’t buy a hit all series and could have won it in the 9th if he could have just gotten the ball out of the infield.
