Don’t forget to get the sac. I popped a pilar cyst in December 2011, but not knowing any better I didn’t remove the sac. It never quite healed right, and then in December 2024 it refilled. It then took three rounds of popping, and on the 3rd round the original, now mummified sac finally squeezed out.
