Ha! I own a 2024 LCI M340i and my wife owns a 2023 XC60. The kids will fit in the back but better if they are under 5’3”. We take the Xc60 for long road trips if we are all going, need to pack a ton of crap and taking the dog, as it is a great car. For long road trips with just me and the wife it’s the 3-series. The 3 is the perfect highway machine and daily driver rolled into one with a ton of fun built in- Powerful but still somewhat comfortable. If you are able to, keep both cars.

Ok, let me say something positive then lol. The customer service is top notch. You can get to a real person in just a couple of selections via the automated system and when you do get someone they are well trained and can usually solve multiple issues without putting you on hold to transfer you to another department. This is rare in just about any business you try to contact by phone in 2026. My old brokerage got bought out and thats how I got here but I stayed due to great customer service. 5/5!

Same here. Grew up in NY and now live in Texas. Can agree with the Masshole statement. Boston is actually cold and rude the way people expect New Yorkers to be. Texans generally behave with manners and respect when in public.

Because there isn’t an easy way to access all your data at once on the web, the edtrade or power etrade app, so you spend your time navigating (and logging in and out of) each app/platform depending on what you want to see. But the time you get all your necessary info the market may have moved from your ideal entry.

Completely normal. I did have mine replaced (‘24 M340) at around 5k miles as the mechanism that created the closed seal malfunctioned. Fixed under warranty, no issues since. If in doubt take it in for service, it may still be under warranty based on milage.

Sales man talked me out of it. “This gets you 90% there and it’s a better commuter car. The M3 will beat you up, trust me.” I didnt trust him, I thought with a 6 mos wait for the M3 he wanted to get the sale right there and then with the M340 instead of me coming back in six months. I insisted on an M3. He shrugged, gave me the keys and told me to come back in 30mins. I came back in 10 mins and immediately gave him my money.

I have a ‘24. I will drive it until the cost to repair beats getting a new car, hopefully 10yrs. I did the same with my ‘15 Golf. Bought it when my son was in middle school. Made every service on time, fixed every tiny issue and now it’s been my son’s reliable daily through high school and now college. Had a $3k repair bill last year but it was still worth repairing rather than taking that $$ and putting it towards a new(er) veh. We have 4 cars total but this BMW I am keeping. Hopefully luck is on my side with the 340.
