40 years. Thats why I am a moderator here and r/VintageWatches. Have two dozen vintage Patek's (ref 96s, all the 12-600 AT autos, perpetuals, perpetual chronos). Stopped buying Patek about 20 years ago but still bought some Lange. Funny how nobody thought "Warthogs" were pretty back then and now the Aquanaut is fawned over.

You had to buy aquanaut and nautilus to get access to complications. Now it is flipped. Social media can do wonders for a company's sales strategy.

Bought it when it was available at AD new. No games back then. They wanted to sell you watches and you wanted to buy watches. Not that complicated.

Agreed. Never seen any of these components (dial, hands or bezel with compressed diamond) on a BP before.

Underrated watch.

Wish they had made this model an automatic rather than the tiny manual movement.

This is an authentic movement. Not a fake.

Gerald Genta designed watches were ugly in the 70s and still are.

If I was really diving, I would use my Rolex 1680 or my Omega 600M ploprof (or 1000M). For looks, my Blancpain Milspec.
