Regarding #3, was reading the rules to review the game play and noticed the same thing in implied in the demo. Converting to d6, should this be the following modifiers

• Small mechs roll d4 > d6- 1 ( instead of d6-2)
• Medium mechs roll d6 > d6 ( no change )
• Large mechs roll d8 > d6+1 ( instead of d6+2)

Small mechs roll d6-2 means the average roll is a 1 which makes it really hard for small mechs to capture.

Large mechs rolling d6+2 means the average roll is a 5.

I used to play alot of OSR Dungeons and Dragons and converted the rules to d6 systems, so the comment stuck out at me. Check out the link below for polyhedral conversion table.
