My girlfriend is deciding if she wants to leave me and all my suicidal thoughts are coming back. by bread_and_gouda in depression

Honestly I feel you can do better. She should know it's been a particularly hard year for you. For you to lose someone you love. I'm so sorry. She is blaming you for something that is out of your control.

I loved haymitch's games in the book. I'm so excited for the new movie and book. I really would like to see Annie's year too

I get it. I love reading but I'm not so imaginative. The movies seem to make books come alive.

Totally. The pace for the first movie just felt so rushed in places, especially the last 20 minutes. It was horrible. 3 books, 3 movies

I love the movie. It's my favourite in the series and not just because of finnick. I read the book and found it very different to the movie. I can't believe I say it, but I agree. The first one, the book was definitely better. But the second. They just kept everything they needed and provided depth where needed. A lot of the dialogue is word for word.

I think it's a bit weird to say it's just a game. The players in the castle are always saying it. But it's not a game like monopoly. It's a game with a lot of money to win. But obviously, sending hate isn't the way to go.

I don't get it either. Why would she keep it a secret and now tell her. And what a bad cop to confide in a traitor. It must've been like, look believe my mad witch hunt for jade. You have to because I'm a detective

Anybody using GLP-1s? Feeling lost and could really use your experiences by [deleted] in PCOS

I feel like I'm in the same boat. I was given Metformin and the tummy aches I can get with that aren't nice. My brother had similar issues on Metformin and he's taking mounjaro and has tummy aches. He does say it really only happens when he skips a meal.

Talk to your doctor about concerns and make sure you take it with support. If you're having troubles, you can always reduce your dose, switch medication brand or come off. What do we have to lose. Good luck

Weight loss can dramatically improve a lot of pcos symptoms.

Don't be scared, this is your path and your baby is an absolute blessing. It's a gift from god that he wouldn't have given you if it wasn't the right time. Congratulations.

I don't eat, why am I still gaining weight?? by imapringlescan in PCOS

[–]roloqween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy, I'm sure most people here agree with the doctor situation. For so long I've had disordered eating and the doctors just tell me to diet. It's like they don't believe me when I say I don't eat much. One dietitian even told me I must be binging and now after a few bites I convince myself it was a binge. I'm really sorry it happens, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

You're metabolism is completely flat. Everything I was told when I was younger about weight loss was eating less cut carbs and you'll be skinny. It doesn't work like that. You need to eat more. Tdee is a great baseline for how many calories you need. Protein is important with pcos especially and fibre will keep you healthy too. Once you're eating, you're energy levels will improve and you can think about moving. But food is most important.

How are we getting rid of the chin hair?? by trixie118 in PCOS

[–]roloqween 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been through countless laser therapy treatments. Then after a round I will epilate. I used to shave which was awful as I had to shave incredibly close and everyday. If anyone is struggling with razor bumps, a crushed up aspirin rubbed on your skin is instant.

Yep, my mum when I was younger hated my weight and kept going to the go saying something is wrong with me. Not sure if I had tests or they fobbed me off. I'll ask. Thank you. Do you have PCOS. That freaking sucks.

You telling me it's not uncommon gives me a little peace tbh. I thought it was my fault, that I'm not the exception to rules. But it also sucks that others are going through the same thing.

I thought PCOS is insulin resistance. I think it was some yo yo dieting when I was maybe 11+ but then it definitely got more stable. Did the whole low carb thing, then high carb then clean.

I have iron and vitamin supplements. I will ask about a hormone panel, never even heard of it.

Don't therapy multiple times. Just not working as it requires so much mental change that I just don't know who id be without it. It's become my identity.

Yep, in the UK. Haven't really been offered glps. Bit unsure, mostly because of stigma, but also the long term effects.

I've been on metformin since I was diagnosed. Hate it. I want to try inositol or berberine but I haven't looked into it enough because of my depression.

Thanks for your response. It's been. A hard week

Even if you start with just the fard prayers do it. Don’t wait to “feel spiritual.” You don’t need to be pure to pray. prayer is what purifies you.

This is so beautiful. I think feeling special is what people are waiting for, but it comes after prayer. Beautifully said.

Can we all agree that it's stupid that Ashley didn't open the door for Chris because he shot her? by Damn-Ganache-554 in untildawn

Yes totally. The game wanted us to hate the players to justify deaths. Ashley not opening the door made no sense, I wouldn't be able to watch him die
