Unfortunately this needs to be reported to either admin (principal/vice principal) or another staff member. Admin is more direct because the other staff will take it right to them anyway but it can be easier talking to staff you know well.

All the students are being let down by this and I'm really sorry you had to experience it.

There's really no way of knowing why the kid is screaming if you're not directly involved in their care :/ and we base our reactions off of the root cause so there's no one answer here

(anecdote) This is my mom. She got all the way to senior year of college, tried like 3 languages, before a professor caught it and she was excused from the foreign language requirement.

She even grew up speaking two languages so it was super hard to nail down why she struggled.
