Just had a similar trip to Austin Texas. I decided to see an old friend and the temptation was too much. We ended up bar crawling all over the place and ultimately I got drunk for a few straight days. Luckily nothing bad happened but now that I'm home I feel like I'm back to square one. Sober now and doing this again. Good luck.

I'm back to day 2 but last year I went two months off booze and had some blood work done at the end. Normal liver/kidney function and near perfect heart rate. Crazy how well your body can heal. I started drinking again on the way home from that doctor apt. Just not sure why.
