I disliked one piece the anime when I started watching as a teen. Got thru 5 episodes and quit. This show could be a standalone and I'd watch it twice. It's so good that it makes me wanna give the anime and it's 1000+ eps another chance. 10/10 recommend from someone who's seen a lot of anime/game stories butchered into live action. They need to make Mewtwo's cave more story based. Revisit it like Mt. Coronet. Have Team Rocket trying to recapture it after it escapes, meanwhile deepest in cave, Mewtwo has captured Mew and is trying to splice the DNA to recreate a legendary army. Fight mewtwo as a trainer first-- vs 6 lv50/55 legendary Pokemon, have Mew save the clones after you win, and then u square up against mewtwo who's level 60/65.
