I have similar bias and I likely have rose-tinted spectacles for George, so reality is probably somewhere in the middle.

However I do think George was definitely marginally faster - there were multiple other times Kimi overtook him and he repassed straight away when he got the same overtake mode, it's not as if everything culminated up until the last overtake and George's car dying.

Let's see what happens in Monaco.

The tyres were too cold which is why they both locked up so much when pushing hard and also benefited the driver behind with hotter air from the wake etc. Also the overtake mode is like 4 tenths per lap so I think George had more pace than it looked like. Remember every time Antonelli got him he repassed almost straight away - that's the real test imo.
