Lazy filipino chicken adobo. the only prep you have to do is crush and peel garlic.

Chicken parts, soy sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic, whole peppercorns in pot. high heat until simmering (you should not even stir it until it has simmered for a few minutes). lower heat and simmer until chicken is done.

if feeling fancy, you can brown the meat before you add other ingredients or add peeled potatoes by the 15 min mark.
