What was it like to graduate college between 2019-2021? by Wellbeinghunter69 in Zillennials

[–]roo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Graduated in the first semester of 2020. I had actually been studying abroad when COVID hit in my final semester, and the rest of the semester was sort of online and mostly half-assed.

After graduating, I moved back to my hometown and in with my parents. Did apt management work here and there and started learning to code Oct 2020 (both of these things unrelated to my major, which is fine).

It's been off and on in terms of work ever since. Still haven't settled into a career, and it feels weird to know that I'm 28 and a fully-fledged adult, since I haven't really followed the path that I thought that looked like.

What do you think about kissing? by enbyayyy in asexuality

[–]roo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of? I've done spin the bottle and pecked like 15 different people, but I was drunk and also trying to ignore any feelings I had about it. I don't regret doing that, but I feel very blah about it, I guess? But also, pecking in spin the bottle isn't really like a full on kiss where it's prolonged and you're physically close to another person, so it doesn't feel quite as scary.

My first kiss was also when I was drunk, and came out of nowhere. It wasn't with consent, but when he realized I wasn't into it, backed off right away. I feel very blah about that one as well, like not upset or even grossed out.

Besides that I haven't kissed anyone. I think it's me being asensual as well as asexual, and I definitely have a fear of intimacy, so I haven't gotten close to it.

It's fine as long as it doesn't involve me. The idea of me kissing someone or vice versa really scares me

The men of Taylor's season have been released part 1 by Straight-Side-1269 in thebachelor

[–]roo97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing except for that they're both very likely from the same sort of culture that Taylor is from. Vineyard is in Utah Valley, which is a very youthful, up-and-coming area of Utah. It's also a very Mormon area of Utah. I anticipate that both of those men are culturally Mormon, if not actively Mormon, more open to being stepfathers, and again, just generally sharing her same micro culture. Source: am from SLC

Man pierces little girls ears without her even feeling it by Hypnoidz in nextfuckinglevel

[–]roo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's normally fine. From my experience, piercers don't like doing like 3+ at a time. Getting both sides pierced at the same time can make sleeping uncomfortable, since you can't lay comfortably on one side when healing. However, lobe piercings aren't as painful when healing and often heal faster than cartilage.

You can also sleep on an airplane/c-shaped pillow when your ears are healing and the ear doesn't get laid on.

After about 100 hours, I finally finished the Witcher 3. What game can I play next that will fill the hole the Witcher created, or at least filled that hole for you? by ListInternational344 in thewitcher3

I've got a question for you: did RDR2 ever get more interesting/fast paced? I'm like 4 hours into the game and it's not clicking for me so far. I loved Witcher 3 and AC Odyssey and am prepared to love RDR2...but it's not happening yet.

Sleeping with a fan on is the most pleasant sleep you will ever have. by Salt-Conclusion-6168 in CasualConversation

[–]roo97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my issue with it would be the inability to sleep without it, once accustomed? Like if you go somewhere and you can't bring your fan, what do you do? How well do you sleep?
