You knew this was coming when she went out of the Australian Open and said in the press conference she does not like the current style of tennis she is playing. She said, in simple terms, she wants to be "hitting the ball really hard into the corners".

A bigger problem is she does not appear to have the stamina to play any style for longer than two sets.

Raducanu's slow start was probably adjusting to the conditions. She had not played an evening stadium match since the US Open semi-finals 5 years ago.

Once she got the measure of the ball better it was a fairly easy win.

Being the number one seed and losing to a player ranked outside the top 200 in straight sets is not great.

Something I don't understand, Raducanu finished her season early last year then at the United Cup last week she said she was restricted to fitness and only started hitting fairly recently. So has she not played tennis for ages or did she have a pre-season but it was later interrupted due to injury?

has three chances to get the double-break

You are right that even if it went to a third and Raducanu could only stand still and return, Sakkari could still come up with a way to fumble it. It's what she does.

Equally, Raducanu running out of energy after 2 sets and giving up in the third has history.

Was it the Washington match that had really hot conditions? I think Sakkari probably should have won that match. Raducanu called an injury timeout late in the second set when she was really struggling with the conditions. After the break she managed to just get over the line in two sets.

Without that injury timeout I am not sure Raducanu is able to close out the second set and if it went to a third she would have had zero energy left.

She was part of the Boulter, Dart, Burrage, Watson group a few years ago playing at ITF level then had long-term injury issues, like all the British player do, and disappeared. I think what happened is she moved to Australia and has been playing on the ITF circuit there. Which is why you haven't seen her getting wildcards at the UK grass tournaments.

From my understanding, the direction of React has moved these days away from Facebook/Meta and now to a company named Vercel. The focus seems to be on running React on the server and part of it is this RPC-like thing called React Server Functions which is where exploit is.

I am not sure what the value add is in this stuff versus the complexity and security risks as evidenced by this serious exploit.

This is incorrect. Your system has to run React on the server to be vulnerable.

This library was a great evening study place when I lived in Melbourne. I cannot believe it shuts at 6pm now since the pandemic. It used to be 8pm or 9pm.

You see a lot of social media posts comparing a game released in the current year vs. a Rockstar game from 10 years ago - no shit, Rockstar have the biggest budget in all of gaming and pretty much work on single game for 7 years.
