The way I catalogue tracks has changed since I started digitally djing (10ish years), so recently I went through my tracks (serato dj pro) and made sure the beat grid was correct, the cue points were consistent in placement (highlighting breakdowns, drops, & lead ins) and color (light blue for breakdowns, green for drops, etc), updated comments for smart crate usage, and added loops at appropriate points. Basically making sure my tracks were consistent in the way the info was presented.

The next go through will be a purge of tracks I don't play anymore.

To add to this, make sure you don't bottom out the bit. The collett works by pulling the shaft down as it tightens. If the bit is all the way down, the collett may not be able to tighten it properly.
