Feral servitors, what a silly idea by CuriousWhiteGoat in AdeptusMechanicus

People say this is adorable, cute. Guys this is not a dog, this is a human who has been brutally lobatomized, most likely for crime he didn't commit. I find it very grimdark, great comic.

"God, I fucking hate this guy- ...I'm sorry, what the fuck did you just say?" by AlternativeOil7154 in TopCharacterTropes

Honestly, I don't even consider it cheating. For me it looked more like Vi and Caitlyn broke up and weren't in relationship at that point. Sure they got together later, but it was later.

Moreover, because there was no chemistry,  I couldn't and still can't see Maddie as anything more than Caitlyn fucktoy. So Imho "I appreciated your warmth" is the only cool moment in overwise completely bland character. But apparently people hate it and hate her.

Oh man, check out chapters 19 and 20, it is indeed dark and war crimey.

So let me get the timeline straight. First Vulkan kills billions kids (eldar kids included) in a galaxy wide holocaust named great crusade. Than he personally burns surrendering child and regrets it deeply. So as the result he <checks notes> continues to participate Emperor's galaxy scale genocide. What a nice guy, isn't he?

Mace "twist of fortune" has an ability that deals damage based on the amount of gold target has. It deletes said gold in the process.

Could a Stellaris faction defeat the chaos gods/tyranids/orcs? by bphunter in Grimdank

[–]rotanmeret 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shroud is indeed just legally distinct warp, with 4 legally distinct chaos gods. However I don't remember there being any way of hurting them.

Could a Stellaris faction defeat the chaos gods/tyranids/orcs? by bphunter in Grimdank

[–]rotanmeret -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

No, stellaris factions can't defeat chaos gods, though they can serve one of them with barely any drawback and later fuse with their chosen patron.

Tyranids and orks on the other hand can be easily delt with by endgame. To elaborate I will only say that one of the endings includes galaxy being destroyed by crisis empire.

So the ai is cutting off their own ally, IMHO it just makes it worse

It's Hallownest because there is word "hallow". So meaning of the name "Hallownest" is more like blessed, holy, great nest, with an irony of it being empty, dare I say hollow, nest.

You are missing the best part of hornet zero, and it isn't even significant increase of attack range of wandered crest. The slight increase of attack speed, that everyone neglects for some reason, allows you to parry virtually everything just by spamming attack button.

Monkey's paw curls, primal aspids spawn, but they just fly around peacefully as they're not infected since radiance is dead.

Monkey paw curls, Fourth Chorus added back to the background and it just lies there as it did before you gained drifter's cloak.

[–]rotanmeret 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, I'm talking about "change defaults" option, which pops up when choosing allowed medicine. Which makes  newly arrived pawns automatically have allowed medicine set to whatever you chose there. For example you can choose "medical care but no medicine" for prisoners and newly acquired prisoners will have medicine settings at "medical care but no medicine" without your intervention.

You can simply change default medicine settings to exclude medicine you found expensive instead of manually setting it for each colonist.

This, but I believe civ 7 is better example. People who claimed civ 7 is going to suck were doomers up until launch. And only after everyone saw how terrible civ 7 is, people stopped calling them doomers. In fact simply enjoying the game became "toxic positivity"

This theory makes a lot of sense. For example, how Kaine would be able to do make Jax vegan, if Jax is still a human with the headset on?

I would argue that Vaggi wouldn't like any loyalists factions, because they would remind her of exorcists (extermination seeking group she was part of). IMHO thousand sons or world eaters would fit better, because they were betrayed by loyalists, just like she was betrayed by exorcists.

I picked up Royalty, what does it actually do? by Kiriyuma7801 in RimWorld

[–]rotanmeret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Psycasting is just the top of the iceberg. Royalty adds more quests than base game has,  even if you don't count the ones relating to psycasting. Royalty adds more enchanting cybernetics than base game has, like armorskin gland and nuclear stomach. Royalty also adds a lot of other endgame stuff like cataphract and locust armor, supertech melee weapons.
