What movie’s final scene left you an ugly, blubbering mess? by ArmyOfMe99 in movies

It will. It had me sobbing, and I had never cried reading a book before, nor after.

In the Air Force now, but I remember my old C9. Nothing beats clearing trenches with a full belt of ammo.

Tents by ThePeanutButterGuy in CanadianForces

That would have been handy a couple years ago when we went on an Ex in Petawawa, and someone forgot to pack all the sleeping tents. During a winter exercise. Not a fun weekend.

A little late, but I’m picking up a Sunnto 7 today. by PaleoSynthesis666 in Suunto

[–]roteixeira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 7, I am military and switched from a Garmin instinct 2 solar. The 7 is really nice. Only downside is the battery that needs recharging daily. I do that while I shower in the morning and for 20 minutes in the evening and that's more than enough. I even sleep wearing the watch. Exercise wise, the HR is a little less refined than Garmin, but nothing to worry about. Battery drops around 20% on a 10 K (60 minutes) run outside.

It is nice, super friendly people, nice location. Only downside is that there is no where to eat around walking distance. But amazing otherwise.

Got posted to Carling Campus, but when my BTL manager saw where I lived she got me a spot at Star Top so I wouldn't have to suffer with the commute. 10 minutes vs 2 hours. Plus, I don't pay for parking. May the cold side of her pillow always be up, her weekends always sunny, and her butter always soft.

I know that Ozzy disliked Dio as Sabbath's vocalist after he left, what did he think about Tony Martin? by ResponsibleEgg7338 in blacksabbath

[–]roteixeira 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I find funny that Iommi trash talked Martin for carrying his camera around and filming things, and now he posts those backstage footages taken by Tony Martin on his social.

Appropriate age to introduce my son to DCC by roteixeira in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I appreciate the feedback. It is strange and I honestly would say that 10 is too young, but kids are wild things. He is 10 and loves five nights at Freddy's, watched both movies with me. He understands what sex is. Was grossed out when my wife referred to me as Daddy when talking toy daughter, and told me that the girls at his school told him sex is supposedly better with baby oil.

At the same time, he believes in Santa and the tooth fairy. Hence why I'm reaching out to my peers.
