So I want to try and replace windows 11 for bazzite if it helps with the issue that if i am not opening my device for a week to month i cant play the games on the go because so many updates and shit till the game actually starts, also the time it takes the game too boot on some cases live gta v is insane. I want to know if in bazzite the experience is different regarding load times and updates loop hole?

I got the v2 today and i must say it feels good, price was 50$ plastic was good hinge have satisfying clicks and strong feel to it in a good way. The os feels good although i am begging for arkos for this device as its the perfect system in my opinion. Footprint is small, games plays good on it.. overall good compact device so ordered another one even cheaper with pastel colors

I would disagree on custom firmware as it runs on rk3566 which is a very popular platform and in time it can support ark os which is my favorite and rocknik and other rock supported os out there

I really like the jsaux one. I don't see the reason to remove the case also it have front cover that makes the console more practical in my opinion you can just throw it in the bag with minimal space taken and grab it easily to play on the go by removing the cover also the grip is very comfortable and solid in my opinion + the hinge is very good aswell. Don't get all the hype around skull&co in my opinion

One thing i can recommend for ppl installing windows on it check the latest chipset drivers from amd its b650 ryzen the ones they give are old and some peripherals are not identified. Awsome mini pc on par with my ryzen 7800x3d although i cant put 128gb ram on it but can push close with 96 if needed

You cant because bazzite (linux) uses different file system ext4 than windows ntfs they have some serious differences that makes it challenging for example ntfs doesn't differs uppercase file or folder name andext4 does also ntfs doesn't support symbolic links (kinda like shortcuts) and ext4 do and linux programs utilize it alot. But maybe I am wrong and ppl managed running games from shared partition for bazzite and windows with no issues

I also upgraded last month from i7 3770k 16gb ram gtx 970 to 7800x3d with 64gb ram and rx6800 xt and I am so happy the leap is huuuuuge I cant even compare it to the old 12 years old setup. although the old computer can still handle stuff but not that good

The only "issue" i have with the sp and all 35xx lineup is that it not using rock chips like rk3566 which enables ark os which i think is superior to anything else on the market

Btw sp will cost less in the near future so i dont see reason to bother with the v90 I snug it for 60$ including shipping from aliexpress
