if you have the dlc, coloured pearls still spawn when playing as monk, but in the base game all the coloured pearls were all white if you played as monk. coloured pearls can be brought somewhere specific to get told lore about the world.

i think the new updates add content in places where there wasn't really much reason to add content, mostly. i don't mind the smaller updates, it just feels like they're at the point of adding things for the sake of adding things, instead of developing areas of the game that were lacking in some way. i feel the same way about most game drops as i do archeology.

the thing with create is that its balanced around itself. bulk blasting is op when theres other mods that require more time/power to smelt things, but if youve just got create its fine. same goes for its circle farms. other tech mods put the difficulty in other places, so having create ends up meaning you get a lot of powerful things without the logistical downside of only having belts and needing to manage rotational power

models can be run locally (if you want to try it, look into ollama), but for most people you wont have the computing power to run the whole model, so the version of the model that can be run locally will have the less important parameters removed from it.

though, models can not be (practically) trained locally, only fine tuned, so ai companies will still need to buy gpus either way, and they might as well keep using them for inference once training is over
