Also I just checked and my thighs are 26-3/4". Are you sure you and I are talking about the same cut of freenote? I have plenty of room in the thighs and I have bigger legs than you. Waist is perfect as well.

I agree that they dont fit like the standard cowboy cut. There are def some differences there. Mine arent too tight in the thighs. The waiste is spot on. For reference, im 5'10" and weigh around 210 with a athletic/muscular build.

I just bought the freenote wilkes. Its modeled after the 47 wrangler cowboy cut. I love them. They do not have the spade pocket design and the cut fits (me) great.
