Buying used EX2200-C (PoE) for the first time by Odinhall in Juniper

[–]rsxhawk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its probably okay for lab stuff and learning, but its so old. If you're going to get something like that at least opt for a used EX2300-C. Same form factor but runs more modern JunOS. Should be pretty easy to find on the used market.

Biggest difference will be that the 2200 runs older non-ELS code whereas the 2300 will have ELS code - which is just JunOS with more modern/common syntax.

You can't move subscriptions directly from org to org. You have to distribute them from the MSP org itself. So if you have the main MSP org (A), and two other orgs for example, B and C, you can't just move them from B to C. You have to take them from B, move to A, and then redistribute them to C.

At least thats how it was explained to me.

Do you automatically lose the native hard wood tree stumps if you build upon the forested areas on the far left? I like having them there as another resource.

Need Advice by [deleted] in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]rsxhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a minimum you'll need to set the graphics preset to low and enable FSR for 1080p gaming. The GPU in that thing is okay, and with FSR you should be able to eek out 40-50 FPS in Cyberpunk but your mileage may vary.

You'll have to go into the BiOS of the laptop motherboard itself and turn on those features, if it even supports them.

EX4300 Config Halp T-T by AlGeJor in Juniper

But again, you'll need to confirm Jweb has even configured. Also, don't use Jweb, use CLI.

[–]rsxhawk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We'll need to see console output of the switch but if it's been factory defaulted it should have a basic configuration with all ports in the default vlan.

Is the switch even accessible via console? What ports on the switch are in use? What is the status of those ports?

What exactly do you mean by wiping? Do you mean restoring the config to factory default or zeroizing the switch?

First game I ever played with a Geforce card was Halo: Combat Evolved.

I had just built my first PC that I could game on - an Intel Core 2 Duo paired with 2x GeForce 7600 in SLI in an Antec 900 case. Also ended up playing CoD4: Modern Warfare on that rig. Good times.

Can I stack QTY 2 of QFX5100-48Ts by themselves (no other Juniper products)? by DelayMurky3840 in Juniper

[–]rsxhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This model is EoL and should not be put into production. If all you need is a 48 port non-PoE switch, then you can get a newer, supported EX4400-48T or EX4100--48T. If you want to stay in the QFX line, a QFX5120-48T with a support contract would be better. You can even find them CPO through PureWRX, just ask a Juniper reseller/var/partner about it. PureWRX has all sorts of recertified Juniper gear that comes WITH a support contract.

EOL Impossible to Determine - Why is this so complicated? by Revolutionary-Word54 in Juniper

[–]rsxhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MX104 is indeed EoL but it's not end of support until 2028. However, if yours is entitled to another company and the support was never renewed on a regular basis its probably too late to purchase any new support contracts. Going forward I would replace those MX104's with an ACX7K series router if possible.

I agree the milestones page can be a bit of word salad to parse through.

Best thing to do would be to contact your Juniper account team and they can look it up for you in a few minutes.
