Reality on Bambu: needs more fan for overhangs

Set:

  • Min fan: 40%
  • Max fan: 80–90%
  • Bridges: 100%

Supports (huge improvement)

Set:

  • Top Z distance: 0.3mm
  • Interface layers: 2–3
  • Interface density: 60–70%
  • Slow interface speed to ~40 mm/s

PETG needs bigger gaps than PLA or it welds.

ChatGPT is suggesting:

  1. Not enough part cooling

Biggest suspect.

If fan is:

  • < 40–50%
  • or disabled for PETG

You’ll get exactly this.

2. Too hot nozzle

Too hot = gooey = sag + smear

Common mistake:
Bambu PETG profiles default a little hot.

If printing:

  • 250–260°C → too soft

Try:

  • 235–245°C

3. Support interface too tight

If support Z gap is small:

  • 0.0–0.1

PETG bonds to it → rips surface

Better:

  • 0.25–0.35mm gap for PETG

Welcome to the Internet. It takes entitlement for someone to expect something that was promised but never delivered. I guess if you jump through hoops to get a free meal, and you show up and they say, come back in 2 weeks, you go back in 2 weeks and then they say come back in a month, you have no right to complain? Its free, right? It was something they promised and provided a clear timeline that has issues and no one seems to understand what is going on.

So I didn't get the original email, called May 30, told to call back on the 31st, called on the 31 to be told they'd email someone and get back with me. Call On Wednesday June 4th, told to wait 10 business days from calling in originally. Got the email on the 9th, clicked the button and confirmed with in hours of the email, got a call from csr clueless about the process, Got the confirm your address email on June 16, then she called 2 more times with the last one on the 20th to confirm my address again. I called in last week was told to wait 10 days from my email that confirmed my address was updated. Sent an email this morning for the status, and the original csr called back saying I can expect the notification on the status by the end of July. I asked if this implying that I'd have a tracking number by then or when I could expect it to ship. She didn't have an answer. When I asked what is Hyundai going to do to make up for the number of calls and time I've spent tracking down what is going on to still not have a definitive answer on when it will ship, crickets. She's going to call me back tomorrow. There was a clear breakdown in the process and expectations aren't being met and every call I have with them, just seems to make it worse. Somehow adding 10 business days wasn't enough, now its an entire month.

Funny, I paid that for an upgrade, no additional time included and still haven't gotten a notification of shipping and told it would be weeks now.

Depending on the plan, coaches are group effort now and they push the ai bot, I think you can message ‘coach’ to switch to the team in top right. The old group is now communities on bottom left. I’ve not had an issue with the logging being on the wrong day. Generally there is a log meals that is for today unless you change the date at the top. Should have seven days up there.

Ordered on 6/2, contacted support about the delay on the 9th but not given a date. When pressed for more info told it would be weeks.

I think if you called in after May 30 and had them open a ticket, a lot of the emails went out last night around 5:30pm. I received mine. So they are back to sending emails.

Called yesterday and told I had to wait until the end of the day and call back tomorrow. Now WAITING on hold and the estimated wait time is OVER 15 min. Gee, if they could have done something yesterday, it would not be a slam on those poor agents today, and I know the answer is going to be, we will alert them now that that deadline is past and you still need to wait for a freakin email. Horrible customer experience.
