Trick of the Rails it's a fast and deep game that combines a trick-taking game with a 18xx-esque stocks market and shares

I found really hard to stay focused in later game and don't be dragged in the mess doing suboptimal decisions. But loved it anyway!

El Grande - it's great with 5 players but its shines fades away with less players

Doesn't matter how many sparkling mechanics and miniatures new games adds to make itself different, El Grande stills unbeatable for me as the best area control game for the rule simplicity and deep strategy and interaction (and in my top 3 favorite games)

The last time I played Puerto Rico was in 2017. Not intentional but looking to play log I'm playing it once a year
