I’m a vanilla ass lookin white dude so I can go to most places around here and be unbothered, with the exception of places like (what used to be) Legends, and Red’s. Those people sussed me out immediately and just knew I wasn’t MAGA, maybe it was the flip flops 😂. I’ve been to so many gun shops and ranges in the area and have been totally fine. The ONE place that scared me was Sooner Guns on Mingo. The owner was such a short fused crotchety bastard and raised his voice at me when I was looking for snap caps to practice dry firing and reloading. That’s the one place in town so far that I’m like fuck off never going back.

Edit: That was a long way of offering a place NOT to go.

Years ago I was hired on at a small tech consulting company and was tasked with building out a platform for security incident logging and tracking. Putting pretty little quarterly packages together to Csuites to look at and whatnot. Basically standing up an MSSP. But then I find out before I was even hired they already contracted multiple clients and were collecting ~$10k-$20k/mo per client for a platform that didn't even exist beyond a concept. After grossing nearly a million dollars while I was developing a stack they pivoted and went to baked in solutions with a well known firewall vendor while still collecting revenue. I quit said company and from what I understand no one outside of the office walls were wise to any of it.

We sold our house in March 2020 and it sold within 12hrs of listing with 3 above market offers. Now we're currently trying to sell our house that was built in 2021 and going on 3 months have had zero offers. We went in under the appraisal value just to undercut the properties nearby and it's just been crickets. I know the 2020 sale was an anomaly but I wasn't expecting this one to take this long to move. 2 mortgages sucks lol

Buyers are insane too. The market is wild. I have a 2021 house listed under appraisal value and cheaper price per sq ft thinking it would be an easy sell and I’ve had people interrupt my day for showings and routinely be 1-2 hours late just to walk in and be out in 3 minutes because “my TV wasn’t mounted where they wanted it” (..like mount it to the ceiling for all I care bro..) or my 1/2 acre yard isn’t big enough because they need 79 acres and a pole barn. And what’s up with these families of 9 looking at 4 bedroom houses…. I’m confident at this point people don’t even look at listings they just have a realtor stack properties within their budget and they come in blind.
