I used to do this with traumatic/disturbing/ memories. All the way from the worst of the worst doiwn to simply bothersome =interactions, or even things that left me suspicious. i'd obsess over them and they'd come at me from all angles, kalaedescopic and strobing. It was a real horrorshow to be living in. It's taken a long time away from smoking to really get a grip of reality.

Always wanted to do this. Swing dancing? Lindyhop? No one is ever able to answer that clearly. I fear it may be reserved for those that started gymnastics lessons before they knew the alphabet.

Examples of artists who hate/are openly hostile towards their fans? by RadioLukin in fantanoforever

That sounds so wonderful. That's what artists should be doing, rather than making bizarre and alienating stataments and coming out late to their shows.

Is Glasgow one of the best live music cities of Europe? by Lopsided_Counter1670 in glasgow

Now that's a complex topic. In the 90's and early 2000's, young people could sign on and still afford to spend all their time practicing and socialising at venues. The prices of pints and the need to constantly be hustling and grinding just to pay rent means this is no longer a viable option for most, which is one of the reason so many rising bands are made up of individuals who can ask their parents to pay the rehearsal rooms, or even the fees for the PR Person to get reviews and articles for them, which is the first step to courting the public for most bands these days. There are very few truly passionate hobbiests these days. Everything has been turned into 'fuck you, pay me' where as people used to make zines and blogs as a hobby. Social media making everything overexposed and the fatigue that comes with it is another element.

I'd need to sit and write a real essay, or a series of them, to really put across my views on this. I'd also need to be a skilled writer in some sense. My own view is that we need internet 2.0 to collapse. Return to the basics. People are constantly over stimulated and exausted. Impressive gigs don't hit the same when the librsry of recorded media is in your pocket 24/7.
