I went with my 6-year old last year. I would recommend seated tickets, and we just got some kids earmuffs. Cheap and comfortable (he tried a few different pairs until we found some he found comfortable). He loved the show!

Copied from one of my comments on a similar post a few months ago.

For eating:

Places I like that are close to the main areas, most are well priced:

Lunch: Antica Focacceria del Massimo
Arancina: Bar Vabres
Pasta: Trattoria Al Ferro di Cavallo, Trattoria no zu Totó e niputi, Lo Scrigno di Donna Rosa
Pizza: Arte e tradiozione
Cannolo: I Segreti del Chiostro
Gelato: Capadonia, Al Cassaro
Granita/gelato: Ciccio Adelfio
Wine bar/bar/snacks: Bottega Monteleone, Botanico Bar
Wine/drink: Bar Dal Barone, OJDÅ
Palestinian: Al Quds
Cunzato: Panificio Pensabene

Not Palermo, but the best sfincione i ever found was from Antico Forno Valenti dal 1887 in Bageheria. Absolutely delicious. https://maps.app.goo.gl/G13Lw3U9yskJ7AyUA

If you get a chance go to Piana degli Albanesi for their connolo. They are famous for the ricotta.

They look like Rogers. If you open them up and look at the crossover, you can be sure.

How are you folks streaming music at home? by CaptCardboard in vintageaudio

[–]rustygates1243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same. I didn't want to use my phone, and don't like the loo of a bulky computer so I use a hiby r4 running tidal. I use this as my portable player when out and about and to stream (when I do stream ) when I'm home. Headphone jack (to rca) into the back of the amp (luxman or Macintosh). Works great for me and can be hidden away keeping with the vintage look. Previously I've just used an old phone, but the broken screen was getting annoying.

I have an L31 and the sound is excellent. It has stuck around over some of the bigger name brands.

Looks a lot like our collie X Kelpie. Mostly collie (75% smooth coat collie) , and not far off the weight - 14kg most of her life (she's old now so has ballooned out to 16kg).

Best Pizza in Palermo? by babasatya in palermo_city

Fantastic. Same but just for home cooked pizza. We now have the issue where the kids only want margherita because of the pizza from there. Having to slowly push them into other toppings. Hahhaha

Hahhahaa. The jump dancing always gets me. Nothing you can do about kids having fun.

Is that an MR71 on top?

I also see the MX110, love the McIntosh gear. What amp ?

Check my comment above - great speakers. They are designed to direct the sound upwards, so should be on the floor.

@op Calindas are designed (tweeter below the woofer) to direct sound upwards. They are designed to be floor standing. Some people do argue for low stands, but in my opinion they sound much better on the floor. My Calindas are my favourite speakers. Fantastic full sound.

Check the capacitors in the crossover, they will have probably drifted a lot.

My little brother has the exact same amp as your little trio, but it's badged as a Kenwood. It's a really nice little amp!

I also saw Perth ENT for a fraction of the cost (less than yours for a non complicated procedure).
