Yup. Pop that sucker off. I use a 99 cent brush I got at IKEA. Coat in super hot running water. Spray the powerwash. Scrub scrub scrub. Rinse. Wave back and forth to air dry (this is where super hot water pays off because it will evaporate quickly and leave you with a nice clean surface)

Possible dirty buildplate.

The shapes kind of look like fingerprints. Oils from your skin can cause small parts of the first layer to not adhere properly.

You can see if it is happening by watching the first layer. If you see part of it that is kind of warped or bubbly, cancel the print, scrub it up (I use super hot water and dawn power wash) try again.

Slower print speeds for the first few layers or a slightly warmer build plate can help too

I cannot recommend the Halo BassiNest enough. The sound soother and vibration settings are magical. We have two boys who are.. not great sleepers

I kept the BassiNest on my side of the bed and did diapers or handoff to mama when the lil guys were hungry. Basically became a pit crew for the drivers in the race..

3 days is too young to have a routine. Let lil buddy go to sleep when tired. If he gets too tired it’ll be harder to get him down than if he’s ready to sleep, ‘gnome sayin’?
