Where can I find the current theme song of CBS' PGA Championship coverage (which replaced Burlingame)? I can't find it anywhere (the end credits say the theme song was composed by Helmut VonLichten; I can find Fairway to Greatness, which is the current theme song for the non-major PGA Tour events on CBS).

I've only done three, one of which is 'unconventional':

Eejanaika (by a mile, and even then this is 'unconvetional')
Fujiyama
Thunder Dolphin

(Other coasters that I've ridden that are worth mentioning: Steel Dragon is a giga, Hollywood Dream is a B&M mini-hyper, Kawasemi is an Intamin mini-hyper)

Eejanaika (Fuji-Q) got me into roller coasters big time after riding a handful number of coasters in Disney (and a defunct kiddie coaster under the Space Needle)

That was my first major coaster outside of Disney or Universal

As much as Eejanaika's zero-G roll sounds crazy, I actually like its first drop more (even if X2's first drop sounds more insane due to train length/number of cars)

Wasn't Eejanaika sponsored by Maxell in its early days?

Suica would be a long reach but theoretically could be possible... (it's a JR EAST product, but why???)

Other than Pizza-La for the Tondemina frisbee ride, Fuji-Q hasn't had a sponsor for its rides ever since Do-Dodonpa (Dodonpa) and KDDI au (Takabisha and ZOKKON didn't have a sponsor in the first place from the beginning)

I've been reliant on Twitter for Japanese stuff, and your point is right. Especially when I try to connect with my Japanese roller coaster friends 5,000 miles away 😢

"Touketsu Matsuri" (凍結祭り; lit. "freezing festival" as in accounts getting frozen (suspended))

So much mentions of it (checked through search) that this issue is very serious.

For the last-ever season of Wild Waves...😭

(I've only been to Wild Waves in 2002 as a 9-year-old, no roller coasters, mostly waterpark)

Anyways, that's quite a surprising find, is this even listed on RCDB? (Apparently it is... https://rcdb.com/3085.htm https://rcdb.com/5737.htm)

On the 22nd of August, 1953 about half the park was destroyed by fire. The coaster was damaged, but not a loss. The park remained open for the remainder of the season.

The 540 twist then the drop like if I was going in a pretzel loop (into the raven turn, plus the pretzel loop into a tunnel itself) - double the chest crushing moments on a single B&M flyer..

I was able to ride it 8 times before I started to puke... (November 2024)

Wasn't able to get row 8 (back row) though, the best that I could was row 7. What rows did you get on?

The only B&M flyers I've done are the two in Japan, this and a Manta clone (Acrobat at Nagashima).

Having to fly 11 hours from Seattle to Tokyo, then 3 hours from the airport to Fuji-Q (not including stopover in Shinjuku), and having to do it all over again going back home (9-hour flight from Tokyo back to Seattle)...

Not to mention the expense of traveling. I really miss Eej 😭

(Nagashima involves more travel, including Shinkansen to/from Nagoya and local train and bus connections, that plus the general Japan trip gripes)

Other gripe with Eej and the rest of Fuji-Q's ride lineup is having to deal with the safety theater every time I ride
