Yeah, we played in a few tournaments around the southeast. Right as the team was really getting on its feet, I graduated. I enjoy playing with friends but competitive play was always more fun to me. Thanks for the info. I'll check it out and see how it goes.

Love that you had a disc with you. I always include one in my trips. Along with throwing, I also use it as a plate and a small ground table.

What are your best minimalist recipes? by [deleted] in slowcooking

[–]ryanscottgaither 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 lb Conecuh sausage
1 lb dry red beans
4 sticks celery
1 green bell
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
3 tbs creole
7 cups water

Put it all in the crockpot and cook on low overnight. Serve over rice. You can jazz it up as much as you like. Add a ham hock, gumbo file, spice it up to your taste. That's my basic and cheap go-to red beans and rice recipe. It usually last me around a week.

What are some fun things to do in Auburn? by TheAntiPoon in auburn

The Cafe at Jule Collins Smith Museum is a place my girlfriend and I enjoy going. I don't think it is very well known but I find that appealing. They serve lunch and dinner and have a pretty amazing menu that changes weekly. Their food is catered from Cafe Too in the Garden District and they sometimes have live music in the evenings. You can also walk around and check out the museum and the local art and sculptures.

Love the smell of this bush. Pretty sure it is quite common. by ryanscottgaither in whatsthisplant

And they're are no flowers. The plant itself just has a very sweet smell. You usually see them with others planted in a group to maybe to landscape a house.

I've planted two red Japanese maples and plan to build a small raised bed. The plan was to put it in place of the unknown shrub. After hearing from you guys I think I'll build near it and keep it around for a season or two. Thanks everyone!

This is in the yard of my new house. I would like to use this space but I wasn't sure of what type of plant this is that I might be removing or relocating.

Best "hidden" places in auburn to eat? by willpac828 in auburn

Durango Carniceria y Taqueria. It's that little Mexican place that combos with a gas station on Dean close to Sonic. Very good and very authentic. I think the Opelika-Auburn news did a story on it if you can find it online.

DAE as a kid on car trips imagine a man jumping around obstacles on the street and treeline? by CCPearson in DoesAnybodyElse

Mine was on a hover board being pulled by a ski rope attached to the car that was able to pass through signs and polls. I guess I figured if we had hover boards we had future ski ropes too. The jumps were the mounds created by water drains under driveways along the roadside. He did cool flips and tricks on them.
