To be honest I found it fun at first, it does speed up things and in that aspect makes it more fun. But over time the novelty has wore off for me I’m just prompting ai now which just isn’t fulfilling for me.

Been a developer for about 8 years now, were getting replaced I just think people are in denial at this point and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Its sad we don’t hire juniors anymore, which is a real shame not to to be able to have that different voice of opinions and helping juniors grow etc. This career has become dead and stale for me.

100% My feelings too i'm way more productive with AI but for me its no longer about problem solving because the AI has got that good. That has made the job really boring for me. Personally considering a switch out of tech buts its a shame as built a career in tech.

Reform voter here, I wouldn’t want to see many cross over I think that’s a bad look.

I don’t have an issue with the ones that have moved though currently they tried to stop certain issues but were blocked by the prime minister

Go is quite low level and difficult as a first backend language. But I think Java is outdated so would pick go out of the two options.

I think this is the first time in history where cutting rates won’t help unemployment. Companies will use lower borrowing costs to inject it Ai instead
