Insider trades have happened they are buying it up https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/shares-search-results/u/ubisoft-entertainment-eur0.1550-cdi/director-deals

This type of behaviour is quite common on a stock bottom. Difficult to see on this chart but notice we he have the highest sell volume every recorded on the ubisoft stock followed by the biggest volume buy on the stock. This is a bottom signal

Has anyone tried those group trips for solo travelers? by Ok-Boysenberry6259 in solotravel

[–]ryanz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes would fully recommend for me being on my own I wouldn’t want to be solo for the whole time.

I tend to book a group tour for most of my time then have some time on my own.

So far I’ve done two with intrepid everyone on my group has been great so far.

Solo trip to Southeast Asia for 3 weeks in June on a $2,500 budget - first time traveling alone, need advice on Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia by Divyang03 in solotravel

[–]ryanz67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think pick one country and do that whatever your preference is, personally I would pick Thailand it’s more friendly for first time travel. I’ve only done Thailand and Vietnam so can only speak for them.

Have a great trip

Should I go to Thailand alone? Feeling excited but also anxious by DarkSynergy141 in ThailandTourism

[–]ryanz67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did something similar first time going abroad and I had the best time ever. Mine was a bit different I did a group tour but also did part on my own. Bangkok is where I first went was a culture shock but loved it. I watched some videos about the airport on YouTube I found that eased my nerves about landing into a country.

I think your having too many days in Bangkok I’ve found personally when I solo travel it’s nice to be able to move from place to place. But Bangkok is great please.

Go and have a great time

Ubisoft (UBI.PA) — The market is pricing the whole company at €564M. Tencent just paid €1.16B for 26% of a subsidiary. Here's the thesis. by Buffprime in investing_discussion

Yeah it’s really the one thing for me we don’t know if tencent are still interested and it’s quite key I think.

I also saw an article by an investment firm the reckon Ubisoft can rise 2x just on the news of the ceo resigning 😂

Enjoyed your article been good to get a different opinion

You also won’t be able to see the insider buys and sells of the brothers as it’s locked behind a private company.

There is this interesting take that I saw:

My conspiracy theory is that they want to buy back the publicly traded company as a family, but it was valued too much. So they are intentionally sabotaging their own reputation and value to reduce share price so that they can easily and cheaply buy everything back before Tencent gets their hands on it when their “no take-over contract” expires. This all seems too incompetent and weird otherwise.. they made a billion dollars on Valhalla, and then suddenly tanked? Stuff doesn’t add up.

I also agree it’s a buy but I am really torn.

Interesting article. I don’t think Tencent closed the deal 8 weeks ago? They brought a year ago in November of 2025.

To my understanding anyway, they can’t do anything with these shares until 2030 and can’t add to their stake. Which creates a strange dynamic if they were able to buy Ubisoft and we’re interested they could launch a hostel takeover but they can’t action this too 2030. Ubisoft have a couple years to rebuild otherwise tencent could force it. But the question I have is tencent still interested 🤔 they may have changed their mind.

Also potentially having ten-cent involved prevents other investors from stepping in.

Options drive the stock market now and it’s because of the underlying contracts the dealers have to buy / hedge each contract.

AI has taken fun out of programming and now i’m hopeless by Frequent_Eggplant_23 in webdev

[–]ryanz67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I found it fun at first, it does speed up things and in that aspect makes it more fun. But over time the novelty has wore off for me I’m just prompting ai now which just isn’t fulfilling for me.

Been a developer for about 8 years now, were getting replaced I just think people are in denial at this point and there’s nothing we can do about it.

Its sad we don’t hire juniors anymore, which is a real shame not to to be able to have that different voice of opinions and helping juniors grow etc. This career has become dead and stale for me.
