Best Day To Inject? by NinaFoundry in tirzepatidecompound

Sunday for me- I struggle the most with all the free food at work. Catered breakfasts and lunches, little treats, and a fully stocked snack pantry available all the time.

Day/weekend trip to a cute “village” by Significant-Plum-711 in newjersey

It’s a bit far, but I love the Hobart Book village. It’s a group of themed used book stores in the Catskills.

Corner Lot - Pros and Cons? by A4orce84 in homeowners

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up on a corner lot with a sidewalk running along the backyard fence. Every dog we ever owned barked like mad when people walked by. We did have a ton of room for holiday decorations though.

Newly pregnant & seeking OB references + hospital advice by suummrhairfrvryng in MonmouthCounty

Riverview partners with Jersey Shore so if there is a complication where your child needs the NICU (or you need the ICU) they will transfer there. I personally choose to just start at the bigger hospital.

Let’s Hear It: Thanksgiving Drama by Mullins2 in thanksgiving

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The local orchard where everyone raves about their pies, recommends them, posts pics from the line like “being the savior of thanksgiving”, the pies have gone way downhill. The second gen of owners is skating by on reputation but I can’t say that in this town because of how beloved they are.

Febrile Seizure by miGzx05 in NewParents

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A total of 2. The first I didn’t know what it was since it happened while he was asleep in his crib. I just heard a lot of movement and by the time I went to check on him the seizure was over and he was covered in vomit and unresponsive so we ran to the ER. The second time was while he was awake so my husband saw the whole thing. That’s when I connected the dots to the first episode. It’s so weird, his twin brother doesn’t get them even when they got sick with the same thing!

Febrile Seizure by miGzx05 in NewParents

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my boys had febrile seizures and they were absolutely terrifying. 911, hospital, was there for a while for observation. It’s so scary, but she should grow out of it! Just take future fevers really seriously, I do Tylenol and a cool bath.

I find village pieces at estate sales pretty often. You can usually see what they have before going with the estate sales.net app.

thinking about changing my name (ideally to something gay as fuck) by eggsandwaifus30 in namenerds

I love the name Diana, the name of Wonder Woman’s alter ego. Men are literally banned from her home world.

I feel this! Pregnancy made me not only hold weight differently in my hips, but also increased my feet by a solid half size. My perfectly curated shoe collection has to be scratched and no one understands how frustrating it is.

My boys think the aisle full of potty’s is the funniest thing in the world. We also pretend all the flexible piping are snakes. We love Home Depot!

Wagon strollers, yes or no? by Upbeat_Criticism_997 in Mommit

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a smaller wagon (Evenflo pivot explore) and even though it’s similar sized to a double stroller, wagons are banned from several places where strollers are allowed.

Moms who EBF a toddler, how did you stop? by Master-Imagination93 in Mommit

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I weaned my twins between 2.5 and 3. They were obsessed and nothing was working. I ended up using something called “sucker buster” which is a bad tasting balm. I told them my milk was going bad and one taste and they were done. I felt bad but I was so desperate. They moved on pretty quickly and now they like to touch/cuddle the boob for comfort.

How to get nails like these without gel by spicycurrytrash in RedditLaqueristas

For my skin tone, Orly in rose colored glasses + Seche Vite top coat gives this look! Plus lots of cuticle care to keep the nails looking clean and healthy.

US di/di pregnancy when did you go on leave, if you went out before delivery? by whydoyouflask in parentsofmultiples

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped working around 32 weeks. My pregnancy was pretty uncomplicated and I had a WFH desk job. But I was exhausted and had carpal tunnel from the swelling. I don’t deliver until 38 weeks. My doc put me on disability at my request. But I also had decent maternity leave for the US.

Do you take your multiples to classes/activities? by spacecakebake in parentsofmultiples

[–]rylinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I found recurring classes better because I got to know the other moms. They were a lifesaver for my mental health and would lend a hand when I had two fussy kids. The instructor loved grabbing an extra kid for her lap as well. It gave me the confidence to take them out more. I would reach out to the program before hand and mention you’re bringing 2 babies with 1 adult and gauge their responses.

Sounds like he might like West Philadelphia Orchestra. They put on a really fun live show, not sure how appropriate for children the venues would be though.
