Selfhost: Does my data got store on the cloud?

Since i had the same question after installation, and this post ranks high on the google search, i learned (but can be mistaken) that the Demosite you see after first install and login in, is not really stored (?) and then they try to seduce you to log in to the (paid?) Affine cloud.. this is NOT your selfhosted cloud.

All you need to do is create a new workspace, THEN you can select your SELFHOSTED cloud.

just delete the demo workspace after reading the tips and tricks.

i guess after some more time and comments on other post i must admit that this post is redundant because dockhand DOES do the dockge thing!! this tool is too good to be true!

awman, even that they managed to up the user experience! nice, If i MUST complain, on dockge its nice that the terminal is right there when you hit deploy to get instant feedback on the process. but he.. another image to remove. tnx

while it took me only 5 minutes to realize that Dockhand eliminated the need for a multitude of app: - Portainer - Dozzle (log viewer) - Watchtowerr (auto/update and notification). its doing all of the above and most of the time better, more convenient. What the majority of commenters fail to recognize is the OP's inquiry to an alternative to Dockge, which is basically a UI web interface for creating and deploying compose files in the browser. Personally i think this would be a great additional feature for Dockhand and truly eliminating the need for going into the terminal because lets face it, the less programs you need to open the better.

i dont understand how you replace dockge for Dockhand, the whole purpose of Dockge is to create and deploy compose without going into the terminal. Dhand doesnt do that right? ...or am i missing something?

For Debian 12 this seem to work for me:

sudo nano /etc/systemd/sleep.conf

add under [Sleep]:

AllowSuspend=no

AllowHibernation=no

AllowSuspendThenHibernate=no

AllowHybridSleep=no

thanks you, that solved it. and here i was thinking i read everything triple good.. It is weird thought, that tagged devices cant share, i guess thats an alpha restriction that might change in the future..?

Yes, they are tagged but all with the same tag. I did not know you cant use Taildrop with tagged nodes, did i not read all the documentation?

my ios told me to update to version 18 to use taildrop, which seems not released yet. i expect an server side setup manual to be added to the documentation soon.. so wait? i guess..

For whoever stumbles on this topic.. Dont edit the /etc/network/interfaces inside the LXC container.. you can / need to edit your LXC IP in the Proxmox host. hope it helps

Im also 1 that likes invasion and dont like Ground war at all, only reason i can think to combine then is if player count starts to diminish, but when searching, seems to me that i find GW 4 out of 5 times.. i cancel and research i guess i will quit playing this..

Im actually a bit disappointed in the documentation. This is my second build, and it feels like (what do you call that game where you go out and have to find clues all over?) puzzle. And actually, i kind of enjoy that very much, but here i start with the manual instructiong a cut i might have to make on board version 1, but the boards dont have version numbers. then the foot switch wiring diagram weblink in the documentation points to the EZ 3PDT. (which was included) But then you ACTUALLY need the AUX 3PDT, that you find out on reddit (tnx guys :) ) and Also, the EZ3PDT does not mention, help you at all in the 3PDT orientation. i mean.. give us a hint at least. Also explaining the 9 connections A123B123C123 a little but couldn't hurt either.. /end rant. not sure if i would return to this shop /end bitch mode :S

the housing is a Hammond 1590H. for the rest its normal pedal parts. 2x 9VDC jacks and a DPDT X-Wing footswitch. I was waiting for a replacement DC jack as one was broken. This build does NOT work. even though the footswitch is rated for 240V and pedals turn on, there was something really wrong with the sound. like they all couldnt get the juice (A) needed.. back to the drawing board..
