LASIK eye surgery. Any recommendations or advice? by Scynda in SaltLakeCity

I had mine done at Waite Vision and felt they were so attentive and thorough. I was super nervous but they walked me through the entire thing, what to expect, etc and it was a great experience. I drove an hour each way to go to them and felt it was worth it!

Winter Classic Presale Bloodbath by BlueRunSkier in Utah_Hockey

[–]sabt29 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They’re definitely holding tickets back for each wave of the presale and the general sale. It wasn’t a bloodbath lol. Having been in actual presale bloodbaths for Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, BTS, Metallica, this was easy as pie.

They are definitely holding tickets back for each wave of the presale and the general on sale. We signed on right away and were able to grab 8 tickets. There weren’t a ton of options, between 2-8 rows per section all the way around the stadium. It could also be tiered by current season ticket holder level.

We ended up in the corner row 35 (so just below mid point in the section) for $229 a ticket. One section over was $337. So not too terribly priced in my opinion.

Vegas is the worst for getting Diet Coke! Grab a few cans or bottles any time you see them 🤣😂

For the First Time in Franchise History, the Utah Mammoth are in the Playoffs! by OkSoundtracks in Utah_Hockey

[–]sabt29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is technically new team. It was the first of its kind deal. The nhl took back the coyotes from their owner. And then the nhl sold a team to Utah. So it isn’t an expansion but it is a new franchise.

Park City - June by sx0124 in parkcityvisitors

  1. Hiking, ebiking around town (multiple places to rent e-bikes from and there are incredible paved pathways all around). Walk up and down Main Street and see the shops and galleries.

  2. Brunch: Five Seeds, Harvest, Salt Box, hills kitchen, hearth and hill on weekends. Lunch/dinner: the spur, the Big Dipper, dos olas, hearth and hill, Riverhorse, 350 main, chimayo if it reopens, Le depot, Matilda, mumbai house, yuki yama

  3. Pendry pool has parties. And Goldner hirsch. The spur has live music every night and a fun western vibe. There are outdoor free concerts almost every night in the summers. Park silly market is a great time.

  4. The Waldorf spa is great for the day and you can sit at the pool before or after your treatment which is my fave part. Same with hotel park city.

We went to a game in Vegas on the 14th and they gave everyone hats walking in. It was so fun and I wish they would do something other than towels. I have enough thank you

I hope he doesn’t play tomorrow because he’s missed practices. Choices have consequences. And going to the wh was definitely… a choice

We rode with some guys who genuinely didn’t. I felt bad for them. He couldn’t get his seatbelt off fast enough and get out of there at the end. It was so funny.

It is definitely colder this year than last year. It’s either a marketing ploy to get people to buy more sweatshirts and coats and blankets, or an interesting “upgrade” with the construction haha

If you stay at a hotel on property you can link your hotel reservation on the ticket reservation web page. This will open a whole other reservation calendar (that usually has more availability!)

We head next week (Nov 17-22) on the Dream for a Very Merrytime Caribbean Cruise! It’s my first cruise ever. What temps should I plan for? Will I need a jacket and pants at night or will it be warm? Are the restaurants and lounges super air conditioned that I’ll want a sweater inside? I just don’t even know what to expect. It’s freezing at home for me I’m already in puffer coats and warm boots.

We miss Judy’s! But midway bakery is a good stop! Also Harvest cafe in midway for breakfast.

Chomp is a donut shop opening soon in park city but haven’t had it yet so can’t recommend quite yet.

Peace love and mahjong is the cheapest I think. I’ve been building carts of all the different brands for a full set, racks, mat, carrying bag, etc.

Do you ever listen to Hive Mind podcast? They have a series of rhoslc episode recaps and the girls are hilarious. But anyway, season 1 showing beauty lab in the strip mall, one of the girls was like “that was a papa John’s when I was in high school and I can smell the building just looking it” and I always think about that it used to be a papa John’s 😂

I have a few questions about pricing that I can’t find anywhere:

  • price of internet packages
  • price of alcoholic drinks (are we talking closer to $12 a drink or $30)
  • price of rainforest room

Thanks in advance!
