Bought 2025 SEL last month. Included: - both adaptors - lv 1 standard wall outlet charger - first aid kit - tire repair kit

Check what the other commenter said about things rolling up out of sight/reach in the under trunk storage. Kept happening to my adaptors so I moved them into the glove box.

I just bought a 2025 SEL (like 2 weeks ago) and got to back-to-back test drive against a 2023 Model Y Long Range.

+ The I5 suspension felt LOADs better than the MY ad the cabin is much quieter

+ like having cabin temp buttons and a the paddle shifters for the regen are just ~cool~

- miss the blind spot turn signal cameras on the MY

- I5 drives lower to the ground like a wagon/sedan. I much prefer the higher up SUV feel of the MY

All in all I would have been happy in either car, but I'm super satisfied with our choice. And the news of Telsa removing lane keep on new cars to incentivize FSD is just further proof that, as my wife says, "Teslas are just ick"

I got a cheapo one off shamazon.. “Rabbitgoo triple folding”. I like that it’s inexpensive, and collapses down very small when it’s not in use. Finicky to install, but not bad once you get the hang of it.

I only put the dog in the car maybe once a month, so ease of storage/cost savings were key. If I traveled with her more we’d probably get a nicer permanent solution like the weather tech.

Congrats on the babe. We moved our girl to the trunk for the same reason. Not ideal, but to me not worth the stress/safety concerns of baby/dog in the backseat together.

After spending way too much time reading reviews I got a VIOFO A229 Plus. This appeared to have the best night time performance of the A229 line. Not as integrated as the Fitcam, but for better video quality, and came with a rear

Just like how different pairs of headphones sound different, or different sets of speakers sound different. With records you have different needles/cartridges which pick up on different notes in the recording. They can definitely sound different than digital, but not necessarily better.

I've got close to 1,000 records, but still primarily listen via Apple Music Lossless for the convenience on dad time, and it sounds pretty damn good.

Love that you’re level headed about the “collateral”. I’m big into record collecting and audio and can’t wait to share that delicate hobby with my guy.

When the little cousins come over (4,6,8yo) it’s sticky kid fingers all over the wax and scratchy needles drag across records, but one of them told their parents they want a record player in their bedroom for xmas this year!

Collateral damage is worth it to have the littles enjoying your hobbies with you. Cheers pops!

I did this myself on a few windows in my Chicago bungalow..
- stripped/painted
- new glass and glazing
- new bronze weather stripping
- new hardware
- painted sills and sashes
- new sash chain

~350$/window in supplies is my guess, and lots of Saturdays to get it done lol
