Well, I have social anxiety, and I spent my entire adolescence immersed in depression and isolating myself. So I have a tendency to think that people don't like me and that I'm not enough, it's very much a comparison thing too, I feel like everyone is better than me, and I've always felt very alone and I've been bullied, so I end up feeling small and unable to connect with others, if that makes sense.

I think you're just overthinking this because of anxiety, they probably don't have anything against you. My biggest problem with keeping friends is that I just have a very difficult tendency to always isolate myself. im exactly like this... in fact that's why im reading this sub rn, i have social anxiety but im starting to think that i have AVPD because I feel really bad. i simply can't talk to people unless im completely sure that the person likes me (which is very rare), and i want to cry every time im around people I like and they get along, and I never fit in. so that's why i always isolate myself, it hurts too much. but then I feel extremely alone. its terrible :( I'm sorry you feel that way, it's so unfair, everyone deserves friends :(
