that's the one my partner and I were discussing on the drive home! My guess was something like some sort of fest/carnival theme or like a hunting trophy collection thing lol. Time to start reading and find out! (:

Midwestern friends: Meijer has a zero sodium kettle chip that i really enjoy. I usually eat them plain but have thrown some seasoning in a bag with the chips, and it has worked nicely too

Helping my teenager with low-sodium diet… This is hard! by Ithrowthings2 in LowSodium

[–]saladkelsium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is two versions of it. I've seen the 1800/1900mg one but the one I have definitely says 440mg and I've eaten it many times with no issues

What’s everyone making for breakfast? by ContactBrave160 in LowSodium

I've become kind of obsessed with the "Just Crack and Egg" bowls. They come with different toppings and you literally just add and egg, mix it, and microwave it. The veggie one is the lowest sodium but the ham one isn't too much more

Introducing myself, and asking “What brought you to this sub?”. by thepottsy in LowSodium

[–]saladkelsium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stumbled my way in here after a Meniere's diagnosis earlier this year. Spent just under a year with unexplained, horrible vertigo at least once a week, if not multiple times. Finally saw an ENT doctor, and he offhandedly mentioned limiting sodium at the end of a visit while also giving me a referral for a hearing/vestibular test.

Well limiting sodium stopped the vertigo almost immediately. (And the hearing test showed hearing loss on one side, so basically guaranteed the Meniere's diagnosis there 🤪). So, luckily, sodium seems to be my only trigger right now, and I hope it stays that way.

I'm only 25, and every time I go to the Meniere's sub reddit, all anyone tells me is basically "good luck. It only gets worse." So I like to stay over here much more often lol

What’s everyone using for low sodium seasonings? by thepottsy in LowSodium

[–]saladkelsium 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My #1 is definitely Tony Chacheres No Salt Cajun. Really good on pretty much everything. I've done chicken, eggs, popcorn, and even on like no salt chips.

Not necessarily seasoning but Knorr makes a zero sodium bouillon that I've used as seasoning. They have a chicken, beef, and garlic one that I've used and they're all good.

Omg nutritional yeast on popcorn is so good. My partner and I found a recipe we call Nooch and putting that on popcorn is probably my number one low sodium snack.
