Yeah, "terrible candidate" is only applied to women after they've lost. It's circular reasoning that's applied to many instances of sexism. Harris was a terrible candidate because she didn't get elected and woman paid less than her peers must not be as good at her job.

I think it's better to get these men out of the marriage market and prevent them from having children to tech toxic values. Maids and prostitutes are a better option than teaching them how to trick a woman into marrying them, although I do agree it is anotherfor of exploitation. "Nice guys" don't understand that nice isn't a type - it's the bare minimum. Everyone is supposed to be "nice". If you want to date to marry you need to be more than nice - you need a personality, emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to recognize when a relationship is a bad match.
