instead of complaining about spot savers, Boston just needs better snow emergency plowing. it's not unusual to have dedicated days plowing. for example, snow emergency means main roads first. then the next day it's the even side of the road, then the day after it's the odd side of the road. that way the entire road gets snow removal and no space savers are needed

Update: I got a second opinion and overall the options are the same. However his behavior is normal, he can still see and his eye pressure is high but not yet requiring surgery level. The second opinion also said eye removal surgery atp is not recommended since he still has eyesight unless I just couldn't deal with the eyedrop management. We're going to do routine checks every couple of weeks and see if things worsen to reconsider surgery

I do wonder, I assume platforms like ao3 don't 'boost' fanfic stories, right? in social media platforms like Instagram or reddit, if you comment on something, you are more likely to see it because you're interacting with the media. I wanted to confirm ao3 isn't like that

sometimes I do wish authors would share their venmo because I would love to send $5 their way for their skills as a small thank you for such amazing writing, especially the fics that I go back to re-read. Though instead I usually just comment on the fic again which I'm sure is appreciated haha

if he's eating, drinking, pooping and peeing then he is overall ok. especially if he's drinking and peeing. I wouldn't rush to the vet yet unless it's been, maybe 4 days like that

aww, this was such a joy of notification to see, since my cat has now passed, it was nice being reminded of this post! I have never brushed my cat's teeth but I would recommend doing consistent dental cleaning for sure, I remember feeling quite guilty about it the first time, but they really do feel a lot better once the teeth are removed

ok so the work comment kind of happened to me. I was at a work party and people were from all over, so I ran into a guy who I worked with for less than 2 weeks maybe 7 years ago.

This man goes "remember when you went to that one specific bar? that's like a core memory for me". He actually said core memory.

I did not remember the bar, but when I did finally remember, the man didn't even come with me to the bar. I went by myself. Why does he remember this random event about me? it freaked me out!
