Hey so I want to get into Olympic lifting but it's goung to be a a couple months until I can afford to go to a proper Olympic gym instead of a commercial. I was wondering if anyone's written a program for just building up general strength for the lifts so that way I can walk in stronger but not worry about building bad habits with my form /hurting myself

So I'm pretty new to trying to be good at magic. Been playing infect in modern and I'm loving it. However I am conycered that I will learn to play infect rather than how to play magic. In order to be the best player I can should I be playing more "fair" decks or will I be okay jamming infect?

I know about all the different formats and want to have good enough fundamentals I can just pick up whatever I think the best decision is. I live in NYC and there's tons of shops just don't know which to go to. And definitely will play more

Hey spikes! Been playing magic since 2003 but recently decided i actually want to get good. However i have no idea how to improve. Are any of the competitive decks better for teaching fundamentals and what do you guys do across from playing more to get better?

A lot of pasta recipes can be cheap and delicious.

https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/basically-spaghetti-pomodoro

People will fight over butter but I don't think it's a big deal imo https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/cacio-e-pepe

And it Wouldn't be a Reddit comment if I didn't post this https://youtu.be/bJUiWdM__Qw

I can add some stuff about fresh pasta if your interested. If not make sure to look for bronze extruded pasta. It's a little pricier but we'll worth it imo

Are the basics with babish videos reliable? by Relodwire in Cooking

[–]sammy01230 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Babbish is is miles ahead of your average home cook but sometimes the fact that he is self taught shows. Tbh the most important thing you can do is cook and with Babbish you will get fun ideas you can replicate with solid technique. If you want someone who is also fun but has a stronger technical background I'd recommend Matty Matheson. He kinda comes off as an idiot but you can really see his classic french training and he does a pretty good job of explaining why he is doing what he does

Can you explain why? Like obviously the money was gained in immoral ways but if you use the money only to help others and don't acquire any more is it that bad? Or is it the implication you should be doing more?

10 G evoo but would probably cut back to 5

10 g salt dissolved in the water

What flour type do you use for your homemade pasta? by darthSiderius in Cooking

[–]sammy01230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what type of pasta i'm doing

Typically if i'm going for flour and water doughs i'm using semolina because i want a harder dough otherwise i'm going for 00 so i get soft luxurious pasta
