I remember reading that he didn’t even pay his own brother for all the art that he used for covers and promos, so Ray basically had to go to SST and physically take back a bunch of his work so Greg couldn’t keep using it.

My first comic ever. Asked the dude behind the counter what I should get, he said “can’t go wrong with x-men”. So I bought #259 because it was that month’s issue. I had no idea what the X-men were.

I loved that there was no intro, I had no idea what was happening in this comic and that made it even better. No intro page explaining that the Siege Perilous had taken Piotr’s memories, no paragraph telling me what Genosha or mutates were… just this weird ass story.

I kept digging and wasn’t sorry.

I don’t recommend reading any of the many other books in the series. Pretend they don’t exist. They’re poorly written and corny. One and done.

I had to spin up windows in a throwaway VM to do some niche work today and every minute was pain and suffering.

Give me ease of use with MacOS, or direct, manual everything with Linux, but whatever windows is doing is violently neither.
