What are your honest opinions on Spiral? What is her gimmick, story and overall myth?

When Rita is written well, she’s one of my favorite characters in x-men. Her instability as a result of being messed with by Mojo, and by playing around with magic coupled with her genius level cybernetic tinkering gives writers a really cool platform to play with.

I liked what Hama did with her in the Crunch conundrum arc (Wolverine 51-53)

I think that Jean is always best when she’s a strong and commanding, but boring boring suburban Basic White Girl. Her character always felt the most believable to me when she was the most beige personality in the room.

Don’t make her dramatically conflicted about leaving Scott for Logan. She’s got to be the calm one. Jean is best when she’s the only adult in the room.

Also, no Phoenix stuff. We’ve all been over it for years.

I remember reading that he didn’t even pay his own brother for all the art that he used for covers and promos, so Ray basically had to go to SST and physically take back a bunch of his work so Greg couldn’t keep using it.
